How can I give a gift subscription?
Visit quarterly.christianscience.com and click on the “Subscribe” button at the top right. Then scroll to the “Give a gift” box and click the blue “Select” button. Following the prompts will guide you to starting a gift subscription to the Digital Edition of the Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lessons.
A subscription provides:
- Uninterrupted digital access to the Bible Lessons in various formats.
- Weekly email reminders on Sunday evening (Eastern Time) with a link to the new week’s lesson.

Gift subscriptions are for sharing the Bible Lessons with others and are not available to be given to oneself.
I have been given a gift, but how do I get it started?
You should have received a notification email from quarterly_donotreply@orders.buysub.com with a personal gift message and a link to activate your subscription. You will need to 'accept' the gift by clicking the link in the email you received and then you will have access to your account for the Digital Edition of the Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lessons.
If you haven't received an email notifying you of a gift, please check your spam/trash/junk folders to see if the email was mistakenly directed there. The subject line of the email will read: A gift for you: the Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lessons.
Please let us know if you still haven't received the notification email with the activation link. We can manually activate your gift subscription on your behalf. However, in order to do so, we will need both your permission as well as the email address you'd like associated with your Digital Edition account. I gave a gift but it has not been received yet; what do I do?
On the date you selected for your gift to be delivered, your gift recipient will receive a notification email with your personal gift message. I already have a subscription to the Digital Edition, but was also given a gift. What should I do?
If you already have an account for either a current or previous subscription to the Digital Edition, use your existing email and password to activate the gift. If you are currently subscribing, the gift will be added to your current subscription. If you are a previous subscriber, the gift will resume your subscription.

Can I give a gift for a different term, such as 6 months?
At this time only gift subscriptions of 12 months are available.
How can I renew the gift that I gave?
To renew a gift to the Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lessons:
- Go to quarterly.christianscience.com/lesson, and log in if needed.
- Click the menu icon (three horizontal bars) in the top left corner.
- Select "Account & Password".
- Log into "Manage My Account" following the instructions on the screen.
- Click the "Manage Gifts” option on the left side to see a listing of all gift subscriptions.
- Clicking the “Renew” button opens the “Renew Your Gift Subscription” page. Note that the renewal page lists all gifts that are less than 10 months from their expiration date.
- Click the “Renew this recipient” box located below the name of the recipient whose gift you would like to renew.
- Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to enter your credit card information. You will notice the amount to be charged to your card is equal to the number of “Renew this recipient” boxes you have checked.
- Click the “Renew” button at the bottom of the page.
- Both you and the gift recipient will receive an email confirming the renewed gift.
